Halloween: The Game Chapter 4 Challenge 6 Route
Chapter 4 Challenge 6 follows the film sequence, rather than simply asking you to finish the chapter. The route below follows a September 8 illustrated community walkthrough. Patch 1.1.0 adds Story challenge failure notifications and lists challenge improvements, but does not confirm this complete community route on every build. Use the scene checkpoints below to identify where your attempt differs.

Follow the scene transitions
- Annie: kill Lester unseen. Lock Annie in the laundry room and let the window escape and phone scene play. Enter her car only after she goes back upstairs for her keys. After the car execution, hide her body in the upstairs closet.
- Bob: stalk Bob and Lynda to tier 3 downstairs. After they go upstairs, wait for Lynda’s door to close. Ambush Bob at the fridge, execute him against the kitchen exit door and collect his glasses.
- Lynda: wear the sheet, reach stalk tier 3 and use the phone execution. Move Bob’s body onto the bed in Lynda’s room. Close the room where you found the sheet.
- Laurie at the Wallace house: stalk her to tier 3, let her discover the bodies, grab once and let her escape.
- Laurie at her house: pull her from the downstairs closet and stab once. At the upstairs red-room closet, pull her out and grab instead of striking again; allow the hanger sequence and following cutscene.

Where is the sheet?
After Bob’s scene, look on the bed in the first upstairs room on the right. Pick it up before approaching Lynda for the telephone sequence. GamerBlurb’s September 10 sheet guide also places it in the Chapter 4 bedroom after Bob, before Lynda’s phone execution. This is a Story prop, not a random pickup on the four multiplayer maps.
Use checkpoints instead of guessing which scene failed
IllFonic’s October 6 Patch 1.1.0 notes adds a notification when a Story challenge fails. Record the scene and action when that notification appears, then compare them with the checkpoints below. A failure notification is more specific than an end screen without credit; it does not prove a new route or a guaranteed restart fix.
Keep track of the last transition that actually played: car execution → Bob and Lynda upstairs → telephone scene → body discovery → Laurie’s escape → hanger scene. If the chapter ends without credit, record the first departure from that sequence and your displayed build. That gives a repeat attempt or support report a specific starting point.
The route is community guidance, not an official completion checklist. IllFonic: What’s Coming Next (September 17) describes the film-sequence objective. That preview predates patches 1.0.3 and 1.0.4; it is not a current release schedule or a guarantee that this objective is fixed. This page does not turn a recommended difficulty into a mandatory requirement, or claim that a restart always fixes tracking.
For an acknowledged tracking problem, see current issue status. For Chapter 4 Challenge 5, the developer specifies fully stalking Bob and Lynda in the living room; that is a different objective from completing this entire sequence.
