Standard vs. Digital Deluxe today

Purchase questionStandardDigital Deluxe
Can I play the main modes?Base game: 1v4 multiplayer and Michael’s single-player story.Base game included; the same core modes.
Which extra Civilians are included? The launch Standard roster has 10 Civilians.Richard and Alexis are the two additional Civilians.
What else is listed? The base package. An exclusive Michael skin; Epic also lists a digital comic and advance access to a Laurie Strode cosmetic. PlayStation names the Michael skin “Inmate.”
Do I get early play now?The game has released. No new four-day head start: that was the September 4–8 launch period.

Choose by content: Standard covers the two main modes. Compare the Deluxe price difference only if you want its extra characters and cosmetics; past early access is no longer a reason to pay more.

Already own the game? PlayStation also lists a Digital Deluxe Upgrade. Check the upgrade requirements and your existing platform before buying the full game again.

Contents checked September 17, 2026 against Epic’s Digital Deluxe page and PlayStation’s edition list. Epic still includes old pre-purchase wording: the Phantom skin is listed under pre-purchase, separately from Deluxe contents. Do not assume that bonus is included in a purchase today. “Advance access” to a cosmetic is not the same as permanent exclusivity.

October 27: what does an owner need to buy?

IllFonic’s October 5 announcement separates free content from optional paid packs. The drop is scheduled for October 27, 2026; these are announced prices shown with a dollar sign, not a promise of local currency totals or an exact unlock hour.

  • Want the new map? Tower Farm is free to game owners. The announcement does not require a Deluxe upgrade or a paid skin.
  • Want a specific Michael appearance? The Halloween 5 and Halloween (2018) skins are listed at $9.99 each. Buying one is not described as buying both.
  • Want Michelle and Eugene? The Civilian Characters Pack is listed at $9.99 for both, separate from the launch Deluxe characters Richard and Alexis.
  • Want costumes? Civilian Costumes Pack 1 is listed at $9.99 for 14 outfits and 42 tints. It is a separate listing from the two-character pack.

Owning the launch Deluxe Edition does not, on this announcement alone, establish entitlement to those new paid packs. Check the current platform listing when they release before purchasing; do not buy a character pack solely to obtain the free map. See map timing or the announced roster additions.
